BIG RAPIDS, Mich. - The Saginaw Valley State University men’s and women’s cross country teams each finished in 8th place today at the NCAA Division II Great Lakes Regionals hosted by Ferris State University.
SAULT STE MARIE, Mich. – The Saginaw Valley State University men’s cross country team finished in fifth place at the 2008 GLIAC Championships held on the campus of Lake Superior State University today (Oct. 25).
MILFORD, Mich. - The SVSU men’s and women’s cross country teams finished in 7th and 9th place respectively in the 2008 Michigan Intercollegiate Cross Country Championships on Friday.

Chicago, Ill.- The SVSU men’s and women’s cross country teams finished in tenth and 16th place in the 36th Annual Sean Earl Loyola Lakefront Invitational at Loyola University on Saturday.
EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Cardinal men traveled to Michigan State University for the 2008 Spartan Invitational Meet. This marked the first time the Cardinals had run in a meet for new head coach Grant Wall.
UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. - The 2008 men’s and women’s cross country teams start their season at home this Friday (Aug. 29) at the annual SVSU Invitational. This season though there will be a new feel to the program as Grant Wall takes control of his first season as coach of cross country and track programs. Wall started off his tenure as coach earlier this month with a trip to Mio that he returned from pleasantly surprised with the amount of talent that was on the teams and the level of dedication each on of his runners showed over the summer.
UNIVERSITY CENTER, MIch. – Saginaw Valley State University is proud to announce that the women’s cross country team has received All-Academic Team honors for both their work on the trails and in the classroom. Three cross country runners were also awarded All-Academic Individual Honors.
