Cardinals Fall at Concordia-St. Paul

ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Saginaw Valley State University lacrosse team fell 20-2 at Concordia-St. Paul on Saturday afternoon.

Gabby Parker was the lone goal scorer for the Cardinals (0-11, 0-6 GLIAC) with a goal in the fourth quarter of play. The first SVSU goal was a team score as the ball trickled out of the CSP goalkeeper's stick and bounced into the net in the third quarter.

Parker led the way offensively with six shots, four on frame on the afternoon. Lainey Lasky and Annelle Dykema tallied shots on goal in the game, but only the one shot by Parker shook the net in the contest.

Sophia Ried caused two turnovers while scooping a ground ball and a draw control. Lasky had a team-high four draw controls, while Veale led with seven ground balls. Mikaila Stone (L, 0-11) made 14 saves and finished with four ground balls.
