EAST LANSING - The Saginaw Valley women's and men's cross country teams competed in an invitational at Michigan State on Friday (9/18).
In the men's 8K race, junior Joey Southgate finished sixth out of 386 competitors with a time of 25:11. Sophomore Tom Goforth finished 44th with 26:12, closely followed by Nate Frasier, who finished at 74 with a mark of 26:46.
In the women's 6K, Allison Dorr made a time of 23:21, crossing the finish at 48th place. Senior Brittany Johnson finsihed at the 23:37 mark, for 64th place.
The teams will compete again at the Notre Dame Invitational on October 2.
