EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Cardinal women traveled to Michigan State University for the 2008 Spartan Invitational Meet. This marked the first time the Lady Cardinals had run in a meet for new head coach Grant Wall.

The Lady Cardinals were lead by Maggie Stalker (Oscoda, Mich.) who finished in 54th with a time of 23:39. Fellow teammates Amber Catlin (Alma, Mich.) finished 62nd with a time of 23:53 and freshman Ashley Meyer (Shepherd, Mich.) with a time of 24:06. Junior Erin Dush (Sanford, Mich.) had a strong showing with a time of 24:28.

Saginaw Valley will next run at the Loyal Lakeshore Invitational in Chicago, Ill. on September 27.
