UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. - The Saginaw Valley
State University women’s cross country teams doled out honors
at its annual awards banquet Monday (Nov. 10).
The women’s team handed out 15 varsity letters. Senior
Elayna Dush (Sanford, Mich./Meridian) was awarded her fourth
varsity letter. The team voted junior Maggie Stalker (Oscoda,
Mich./Oscoda HS) as team MVP.
Other award winners for the women include:
- Most Improved: Libby Robinson (Saginaw, Mich./Swan Valley)
- Most Dedicated: Amber Catlin (Alma, Mich./Alma HS)
- Most Outstanding Freshmen: Chelsea Savage (Monroe, Mich.)
Earning their third varsity letter:
- Amber Catlin (Alma, Mich./Alma HS)
- Erin Dush (Sanford, Mich./Meridian)
- Cheryl Mapes (Sanford, Mich./Meridian)
- Libby Robinson (Saginaw, Mich./Swan Valley)

- Rachel Trombley (Reese, Mich./Reese HS)
- Amie Wilson (Linden, Mich./Linden HS)
