Saginaw Valley State University volleyball had two honored on All-GLIAC teams as Sarah Veale was named to the second team and Sage Schumacher was given honorable mention.
Veale is a senior outside hitter playing in 102 matches over the last four years. In 2024, Veale led the Cardinals with 351 kills and 3.90 kills per set, both career highs including a hitting percentage of .189. She ended her career with 811 kills, 56 aces, 712 digs, and 71 blocks. This is the second All-GLIAC honor for Veale after being named Freshman of the Year in 2021.
Schumacher is a senior middle blocker wrapping up her three-year career at SVSU. Schumacher played in 26 matches this season and 59 over the last three years. She had 81 kills and a hitting percentage of .236 in 2024. Schumacher also had 35 digs and led the Cardinals with 65 blocks, finishing her career with 139. This is Schumacher's first All-GLIAC honor.
