Tennis Advances in GLIAC Tournament After 4-0 Win over LSSU

MIDLAND, Mich. – The Saginaw Valley State University tennis team advanced to the second round of the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) tournament after defeating Lake Superior State 4-0 on Friday afternoon. The Cardinals (6-11) took doubles point after wins at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles. Adriana Barrio and Nicoletta Diamantopoulos won in No. 1 doubles, while Amelia Dickson and Anastasia Diamantopoulos won at No. 3. Dickson and N. Diamantopoulos won their matches at No. 2 and No. 4 singles to gather two more points. Elizabeth Stuart won at No. 5 singles for the final point of the match.
