MIDLAND, Mich. – The Saginaw Valley State University tennis team suffered a 5-2 defeat to Grand Valley State on Saturday afternoon. The Cardinals (3-11, 2-4 GLIAC) celebrated the 2025 senior class in the team's final home match of the Spring season.
The Cardinals battled the Lakers in the three doubles matches, as all three matches were tightly contested.
Adriana Barrio was the first to record a point for SVSU with her win in the No. 1 singles contest. Lydia Liong added the other point with a win in No. 3 singles.
