Cardinals Roll to 7-0 Victory Over Sioux Falls

ORLANDO, Fla. – The Saginaw Valley State University tennis team earned its first win on the final day of the Spring Break trip in Orlando, Florida. The Cardinals (1-6) defeated Sioux Falls 7-0 after scoring the point in doubles and winning all six singles matches.

SVSU swept the doubles portion of the match with Adriana Barrio and Nicoletta Diamantopoulos winning number one doubles 6-3. Amelia Dickson and Elizabeth Stuart claimed a 6-0 victory in the number two spot, while Anastasia Diamantopoulos and Irene Latorre won number three doubles 6-1.

Barrio (#1 singles), Dickson (#2 singles), N. Diamantopoulos (#3 singles), Stuart (#4 singles), A. Diamantopoulos (#5 singles), and Alexis Anthes (#6 singles) won their matchups for the final six points needed for the sweep.
