MIDLAND, Mich. -- The Saginaw Valley State University tennis team earned a convincing 6-1 win over Roosevelt on Friday afternoon. The Cardinals swept the doubles competition to move ahead 1-0 before closing out the match with victories in 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 singles for the 6-0 lead. The Lakers took the number six singles matchup to prevent the shutout.
