Season Recap:
The Cardinals concluded the 2024–25 season with their third NCAA regional appearance as a team in the past four years. They captured two tournament titles during the season: the Davenport Fall Invitational in October and the Davis & Elkins Battle at Brunswick in March. Thiravong was victorious as an individual at the Battle at Brunswick as well.
SVSU set a new program record for an 18-hole team score at the Davenport Fall Invitational, posting a 296. Thiravong shot an even-par 72, Herbstreit carded a 71 (-1), Nagy added a 75 (+3) including a hole-in-one, and Hauser contributed a 77 (+5). Aileen Cosentino also recorded a hole-in-one for the Cardinals this season at the Warrior Invitational in September.
All players except Nagy had prior NCAA regional experience entering the tournament. Herbstreit qualified for regionals in all four years of her collegiate career—competing as an individual in 2023–24, as part of the team with Thiravong and Kozlowski in 2022–23, and with Kozlowski and Andie Martin in 2021–22.
