GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Saginaw Valley State University women's golf program competed at the 16th annual Gilda's Club Laker Fall Invite hosted by Grand Valley State University on Saturday and Sunday. The Cardinals took fourth out of 10 teams with a team score of 652 after rounds of 324 and 328 at The Meadows in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Megan Thiravong led the way shooting 159 with rounds of 80 and 79. She took 12th out of 60 golfers. Brook Herbstreit took 21st with rounds of 77 and 85 to finish with a total score of 162. Christina Nagy followed up with rounds of 83 and 82 as she shot 165 on the weekend and finished 30th overall. Aileen Cosentino and Hannah Hauser rounded out the team with Cosentino's first round of 84 and Hauser's second round of 85 wrapped up the team scores. Consentino shot 90 in round two to place 43rd and Hauser shot 97 in the first round to place 47th.
