COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Saginaw Valley State University women's golf program started their 2024 Fall competition at the Champions of Women Fall Invitational hosted by Ohio Dominican at Champions Golf Course in Columbus, Ohio. The team took eighth out of 15 teams shooting 648 over two rounds.
Brook Herbstreit led the way with rounds of 77 and 80 to place 10th out of 100 golfers at the invitational. Megan Thiravong and Hannah Hauser both shot +19 to finish tied with each other for 27th. Marissa GeRue shot rounds of 84 and 81 to finish 34th. Christina Nagy finished +25 over two rounds with Andie Martin following up shooting +34.
Up Next: Women's golf heads to Washington, Michigan next week for the Warrior Fall Invitational hosted by Wayne State. Competition starts Monday, September 23 and ends Tuesday at The Orchards Golf Club.
