ALLENDALE, Mich. – The Saginaw Valley State University women's golf team finished in a tie for fifth place out of 15 teams at the Gilda's Club Laker Fall Invite, which finished on Monday at The Meadows in Allendale, Mich.

The Cardinals carded a two-round score of 634 (312, 322), tying with Ferris State University for fifth place.  The University of Findlay won the event with a final score of 607.

Rachael Kreiger led the Cardinals with a score of 155 (75, 80), finishing in 12^th. Emily O'Brien was 20^th, while Mandy Ehrlich was 26^th. Rounding out the event for the Cardinals were Brook Herbstreit and Megan Kozlowski in 38^th and 46^th, respectively.

The Cardinals continue the fall season with the William Beall Classic hosted by Findlay Oct. 3-4 from the Findlay Country Club in Findlay, Ohio.
