Head coach Jenny Pruett had this to say after the loss,
"Any game against Wayne State is going to be tough and we got down by a lot in the first quarter and took a lot to get back into the game. I'm very proud of the way they [the team] fought to get back and take the lead. To be down 16 points and fight back to take the lead shows a lot about our character."
