The three-point shooting of Roosevelt cut into the lead and made it a seven-point game late in the quarter before Jones hit a pair of free throws and a layup by Walker beat the buzzer to make it 64-53. Jones and Meredith got early buckets in the fourth to push the lead to 15. Free throws down the stretch kept the game out of reach for the Lakers as the Cardinals get a much-needed GLIAC victory.
