Sophomore guard Lydia Meredith made her presence known in the three games for the Cardinals this past week. SVSU tallied two wins defeating Davenport and Lake Superior State while falling to the No. 6 ranked Ferris State by two points. Meredith led the team in rebounds with 23 and steals with 10 of the 30 for Saginaw Valley. The Portland, Michigan native also added 21 points and six assists. Averaging 7.7 rebounds per game would put her fourth in the GLIAC along with 3.3 steals per game would be first sitting half a steal above the leader. Meredith is currently tied for second in steals per game in the GLIAC averaging 2.2 a game.

The Cardinals get back on the court this Thursday as they head to Purdue Northwest. Tip-off is set for 5:30 PM EST.
