NEW ORLEANS – Saginaw Valley State University jumper Sawyer Moloy earned Second-Team All-America by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) for his finish at the NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships in the high jump this past weekend.
Athletes of member institutions who finished in the top eight of their respective individual events at the 2025 NCAA DII Championships in Indianapolis receive First-Team All-America honors. Those that place ninth through 12th individually earn Second-Team All-America honors.
Moloy finished tied for ninth at the National Meet after clearing the bar at 2.11m on his first attempt, but he couldn't clear 2.14m to move into the top eight.
The freshman finished the indoor season with a GLIAC Indoor Championship in the high jump and also set a personal best mark of 2.18m at the SVSU Jet's Pizza Invitational at the beginning of February. Moloy won the high jump in five of his seven appearances during the indoor season.
