Sawyer Moloy Finishes Just Short of All-America at NCAA DII Indoor Championships

INDIANAPOLIS – On Friday afternoon, Saginaw Valley State University freshman high jumpers Sawyer Moloy and Xavier Santiago debuted in the men's high jump at the NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field National Championships.

Moloy cleared 2.11m in his first attempt but couldn't clear the bar at 2.14 and tied one spot shy of All-America status, in ninth. Santiago made it over the bar at 2.01m on his third attempt but couldn't advance further in the competition, finishing 18th.

UP NEXT: The Cardinal track and field team concludes the 2024-25 indoor season and will transition to the 2025 outdoor season. The first meet will be on Saturday, March 22, at Indiana Wesleyan in Marion, Indiana.
