INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The NCAA DII swimming & diving championships selections were announced Wednesday evening and Saginaw Valley State University swimming and diving had nine on the list. Seven are confirmed with two more that can qualify next week.
Benjamin Wainman, Alvaro Rodriguez, and Alexa Hieber were all selected as individuals with the relay team of Adam Bebars, Logan Fox, A'lmos Szedlak, and Lyon Hall also qualifying. Wainman and Hieber were both selected for the 500-yard, 1000-yard, and 1650-yard freestyles. Rodriguez qualified for the 100-yard and 200-yard butterfly and the relay team qualified for the 400-yard free relay. Hall is heading to Indianapolis as an alternate with Rodriguez competing in the relay.
Rory Kauffman and Cailey Mills were both selected for the diving qualification and can punch their tickets to Indianapolis with top performances in that meet next week.
