GREENSBORO, N.C. - The outstanding season for sophomore diver Adrien McGill came to a close at the NCAA DII National Championships on Friday at the Greensboro Aquatic Center. 

McGill finished 13tth in the men's 3-meter diving event for Saginaw Valley State University with a score of 396.15. The finish gave McGill his first career All-American Honorable Mention. Earlier this week, McGill finished 17th on the 1-meter board. 

"Adrien had a breakout year this season," SVSU Head Diving Coach Joe Gucwa said. "I'm very proud of Adrien's progress this year and excited to see what he does in the future."

The SVSU season comes to a close with senior Libby Caird competing for the women on the 1-meter board on Saturday in Greensboro.
