ANN ARBOR, Mich. - The Saginaw Valley State University swimming and diving teams sent athletes to the First Chance Meet at the University of Michigan, and the Grand Valley State University Diving Invitational on Saturday.
Women's Highlights:
- The 200-yard freestyle relay team of Tonya Guryeva, Flora Mia Szklenar, Emma Cornell, and Piper St. Clair finished with a time of 1:36.43.
- Szklenar, Cornell, Guryeva, and Erin McDowell finished with a time of 3:50.26 in the 400-yard medley relay.
- At GVSU, Libby Caird earned the victory in the 1-meter dive with a score of 486.16 points after 11 dives. Adelaide Spencer also competed and posted a score of 409.20 points, hitting the NCAA B-Standard.
Men's Highlights:
- Adrien McGill finished second in the 1-meter dive with 445.05 points.
- Corbin Montpas also competed at GVSU, finishing third in the 1-meter dive with 431.18 points, and winning the 3-meter dive with 284.78 points after six dives.
- At Michigan, Alejandro Robles Ruiz won his 100-meter freestyle time trial with a time of 44.37 seconds.
- The team of Ruiz, Josh Rottier, Joao Pedro Noguera, and Sanders Modglin finished with a time of 1:22.35 in the 200-yard freestyle relay time trial.
