UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. - The Saginaw Valley State University swimming and diving teams hosted Wayne State University in a dual meet on Saturday from the Gerstacker Regional Aquatic Center. On the men's side, the Cardinals fell to the Warriors 108-97, while the women lost 137-65.

Sophomore Adrien McGill won the 1-meter dive with a score of 281.55 points, and took third in the 3-meter dive with a score of 261.25 points. 

For his efforts, the Grand Ledge, Mich., native has been named GLIAC Diver of the Week for the third time this season. 

The Cardinals will host the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championship beginning Friday from the Gerstacker Regional Aquatic Center.
