UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. - The Saginaw Valley State University men's cross country team is set to compete in the 2013 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Championships on Saturday (Oct. 26) in Houghton, Mich.

The conference championship meet will take place on the trails that run throughout Michigan Tech University. 

The men's 8k race will take place at 11:45 am followed by the men's open 8k at 12:45 pm.

Last year, the Saginaw Valley men's team finished in 7th place out of the 15 GLIAC schools that competed in the meet. 

This will be the first race the Cardinals have competed in since recording a 1st place finish in the Michigan Intercollegiate Championships at Hillsdale College (Oct. 11).
