LANSING, Mich. - The SVSU men's cross country team competed today (Oct. 4) at the Lansing Community College Invitational.

Junior Drew Meylan (Bay City, Mich./Western) was the top finisher for the Cardinals, posting an 18th place finish with a time of 26:04.3 in the 8K event.

Freshman Charlend Howand (Gaylord, Mich.) was next for SVSU, finishing with a time of 26:33.5, placing him 31st.

Fellow freshman Joseph Southgate (Unionville, Mich./Sebewaing HS) finished 38th for Saginaw Valley, notching a time of 26:41.2.

The men are back in action on Friday (Oct. 11), when they travel to Hillsdale College to compete.
