HILLSDALE, Mich - The Saginaw Valley State University men's and women's track and field teams competed in the Hillsdale Gina Relays on Friday (April 25th).  

Sophomore Chantelle Fondren of the women's team competed well in the 1,500 meter run, placing 13th with a time of 14:34.67.  Also running for the women was junior Emily Short, who took 12th in the 5,000 meter run with a time of 16:57.44.

For the men, it was Andrew Middleton and Travis Toye who made their mark in the 800 meter run.  Middleton took 11th with a time of 1:55.22 and Toye crossed at the 1:57.34 mark, good enough for 20th place.

The men's and women's track and field teams are back in action Saturday (April 26th), as they compete in the Ernie Mousseau Classic at Aquinas College.
