HILLSDALE, Mich. - The Saginaw Valley State University men's and women's indoor track & field teams are set to begin competition in the 2014 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Indoor Championships.  The two-day event is being held at Hillsdale College's Margot V. Biermann Athletic Center.

The Cardinal women look to improve upon last year's 4th place finish while the men are seeking an improvement on their 10th place 2013 showing.

This year's championships will be on Saturday and Sunday (Mar. 1-2), with Saturday's action beginning with the Women's Pentathlon at 10:00 am and things getting started on Sunday with the Men's Heptathlon at 9:00 am.
