2011-12: Indoor: crossed the line with a personal best time of 4:29.33 in the 1-mile run at the SVSU - GVSU Dual...set a personal record in the 3,000m run at the Indoor GLIAC Championship with a time of 8:51.75...tallied another personal best in the 5,000m run with a time of 15:11.22 at the GVSU Big Meet...placed first and third in the 5,000m run with times of 15:33.16 and 15:32.50 respectively at the SVSU The Cardinal and SVSU Doug Hansen Open...crossed the line in second and third place in the 3,000m run at the SVSU Indoor Classic and SVSU Holiday Classic with times of 8:54.97 and 8:55.32 respectively. Outdoor: turned in a season best time of 15:29.72 in the 5,000m and crossed the line fifth in the 3,000m with a time of 9:44.08 at the Outdoor GLIAC Championship...finished fifth and set a new personal mark in the 3,000m steeplechase by clocking a 9:11.13 at the Azusa Pacific Bryan Clay Invitational...scored first place finishes at the Northwood Open, GVSU Last Chance Meet and CSULA Twilight Open in the 3,000m steeplechase with times of 9.18.04, 9:23.40 and 9:30.87 respectively.

2010-11: Cross Country: ran a season best 5,000-meter at the EMU Classic timing in at 16:19...earned a season best 10,000-meter time of 35:41.05 at the Regional Championships which placed him sixth on the team.  Indoor: competed in the 800 and 3,000-meter events at the SVSU Indoor Classic and timed in at 2:05.28 and 9:03.41, respectively...ran the mile at the SVSU Doug Hanson Open and recorded a time of 4:31.67...earned a season best in the 3,000-meter run of 8:55.19 at the SVSU Cardinal.  Outdoor: competed in the 3,000-meter steeple chase at the EMU Twilight and Northwood Open earning times of 9:42.46 and 9:41.72, respectively...ran the steeple chase at the Outdoor GLIAC Championships and crossed the line with a final time of 9:34.68...earned a season best in the 3,000-meter steeple chase of 9:29.60 at the Stan Lyons Invitational.

2009-10:  Indoor: participated in the 3,000-meter run at the SVSU Doug Hanson Open and the GVSU Bob Eubanks Open and timed in at 9:06.91 and 8:55.67, respectively...ran the mile at the SVSU Indoor Classic and clocked in at 4:34.42...earned a second place finish and a season best in the 3,000-meter run at the CMU Jack Skoog Open crossing the line at 8:52.57.  Outdoor: placed third in the 3,000-meter steeplechase timing in at 9:48.80 at the MSU Spartan Invitational...ran the steeplechase at the Northwood Open and crossed the line at 9:40.00, placing first overall...earned a seventh place finish in the steeplechase at the Outdoor GLIAC Championships clocking in at 9:43.30...ran a season best at the Stan Lyons Invitational in the 3,000-meter steeplechase timing in at 9:39.76 placing second.

2008-09: Took fourth place overall in the 3,000-meter run with a time of 9:19.03 and eleventh in the 4x400-meter relay with a time of 3:47.45 at the SVSU Holiday Classic…finished seventh place at MSU’s Spartan Invite in the steeplechase competition with a time of 10:22.79…placed ninth at SVSU’s Collegiate Open Classic in the 3,000-meter run with a time of 9:17.31 and took eleventh place in the 3,000-meter steeplechase competition at the GLIAC Outdoor Championships with a time of 10:05.67…took thirteenth place in the 3,000-meter run at both GVSU’s Invite and the NCAA Division II Team Challenge where he finished with a time of 9:13.89 and placed fifteenth overall in the mile run at SVSU’s Collegiate Open with a time of 4:43.38.

Prior to SVSU/Personal: Prepped at Essexville Gerber High School...ran all four years in cross country and track...qualified for states in his junior and senior year for cross country...was a track and field conference champion his senior year...member of the swimming team for three years...member of the National Honor Society...majoring in occupational therapy...son of Todd and Anne Wetters...born 12/28/89.
