Saginaw Valley's Tyler Grob to Compete in the 2010-11 National Indoor Track and Field Championships

UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. -  The Saginaw Valley State University's men's track and field team has one athlete who has qualified for the 2010-11 Division II Indoor National Track and Field Championships, which are to be held on Friday (Mar. 11) and Saturday (Mar. 12) in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Sophomore Tyler Grob (Pinckney, Mich./Pinckney HS) had a solid performance this past weekend at the Indoor Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Championships. where he posted a score of 5,031 points in the heptathlon, earning him a first place finish.  That final score earned Grob a number three seed in the upcoming Division II Indoor National Championships.
