Stalcup Ties for Eleventh as Team Takes Fifteenth in Findlay Spring Invite

RICHMOND, Ky. – The Saginaw Valley State University men's golf program traveled back to Kentucky on Monday and Tuesday for three rounds of golf at Boones Trace Golf Course in Richmond. The Cardinals took 15th place out of 18 teams with rounds of 311, 303, and 290 for a team total of 904 through 54 holes of golf.

Remy Stalcup led the way for the Cardinals as he was even after the three rounds. He shot 71 and 73 on Monday and rounded out the tournament with a 72 on Tuesday to place tied for 11th out of 90 golfers. Shea Harmeson had a great third round to finish tied for 20th. Harmeson shot rounds of 80 and 72 before a team best 67 on Tuesday for a total of 219. Thomas Keyte shot 78, 80, and 77 for a total of 235. Ethan Swenson had rounds of 88, 78, and 74 for a total of 240. Nicholas Taylor rounded out the team with rounds of 82, 83, and 81.

The men's golf team gets back on the road to start April as they head with the women's team to Laconia, Indiana for the FIndianapolis Intercollegiate hosted by Findlay and UIndy at Chariot Run Golf Club. The tournament is set for Monday, April 1 and Tuesday, April 2.
