Men's Golf sits fourth after opening round of Parkside Spring Invitational

COLUMBUS, Ind. -- Competing in the opening round of the 2019 Parkside Spring Invitational, the SVSU Men's Golf team shot a team score of 305 and is currently in a tie for 4th place at the Otter Creek Golf Club in Columbus, Indiana. 

The Cardinals are tied with Parkside and Wittenberg, two strokes behind Wayne State. Bellarmine leads the event after a 295 and Indianapolis shot a 299 on Sunday.

Jared Lyons is tied for second just a stroke off the lead after carding an opening round of 72 (E). Dustin Pumford is tied for 12th overall after his opening score of 75 (+3). 

Gunnar Stein posted a five-over round of 77 and is tied for 26th overall while Alex Dice (81) and Brady Dice (82) rounded-out play for the Cardinals in round one.
