UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. – The Saginaw Valley State University baseball team was ready to kick off their spring trip in North Carolina Wednesday.

The Cardinals were set to play Barton before three games against Walsh. After rain pushed the 2:00 PM start back against the Bulldogs to 6:00 PM, a tornado watch cancelled the game. SVSU is set to play three games over three days against the Cavaliers. First pitch for Thursday, March 6 has been moved forward an hour to 5:00 PM EST in Tarboro, N.C. Friday is set for 6:00 PM and Saturday for 2:00 PM against WU.
