GLIAC -- SVSU Baseball junior right-handed pitcher Brandon Wise has been named the GLIAC Pitcher of the Week following his performance on Sunday in the team's road victory over No. 15 Mercyhurst.

Wise was stellar in a road victory over #15 Mercyhurst on Sunday afternoon. Wise fired seven innings, allowing just two hits and one run while striking-out a career-best 11 batters. He is now 2-0 on the season and has 21 strikeouts in his 18.2 innings pitched for the Cardinals.

The Cardinals host Aquinas College on Wednesday (Mar. 20) before opening GLIAC play this upcoming weekend at Davenport University.
