Ashleigh Hubbard begins her collegiate coaching career after playing two years of volleyball at Saginaw Valley State University (05-06) after transferring from Kellogg Community College as a libero.  At Kellogg in 2003-04, she led her team to a fourth-place finish at the NJCAA Nationals two years in a row.  Recruited by SVSU head coach Will Stanton, she finished her career in 2005-06 with the Cardinals.  In 2006, Ashleigh's senior season, the Cardinals finished above .500 for the first time in eight years, as she garnered All-GLIAC Honorable Mention honors as well as team MVP and best defensive player. 

Hubbard also served as AAU 13's We Can coach in 2003-04.  In 2004, her team won silver in the AAU state finals in Grand Rapids, Mich.  She also volunteered as the assistant coach for Battle Creek Central High School in 2004. 

Ashleigh graduated from SVSU in December, 2008 with her baccalaureate in Art, and is continuing with graduate school for her Doctrine in Physical Therapy.
