UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. - The Saginaw Valley State University volleyball team had three players named to the Cedarville All-Tournament Team after the team went 3-1 overall last weekend in Ohio. 

Peyton Gerstacker was named the Tournament MVP after recording 154 total assists (11 per set), to go along with 44 digs, seven total blocks, and 14 kills for the Cardinals. 

Madison Thompson and Rylee Zimmer were also named to the All-Tournament Team. Thompson recorded a team-high 53 kills over the weekend (3.79 per set), adding four service aces, 19 digs, and four total blocks. Zimmer added 38 kills, 45 digs, and 12 total blocks. 

The Cardinals open the 2022 GLIAC season with a trip to Lake Superior State University at 4 pm on Friday in Sault Ste. Marie, Mich.
