UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. – For the fourth straight year, and ninth time in program history, the Saginaw Valley State University volleyball team was awarded All-Academic Team honors by the American Volleyball Coaches Association for the 2021-22 school year.

The award, initiated in the 1992–93 academic year, honors volleyball teams at both the high school and collegiate levels that maintain a year-long grade-point average of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale or 4.1 on a 5.0 scale.

The Cardinals 2022 season gets underway at the Cal State San Marcos Tournament on August 26th. Will Stanton is entering his 20th season as head coach of the program.
