UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. - Saginaw Valley State University dropped a 3-0 decision at home to the Michigan Tech University Huskies in a GLIAC North Division matchup.
The Huskies claimed both of the opening sets by 25-17 scores, taking the 2-0 advantage. They would then move on to close-out the match with a 25-21 edge in the third frame, sealing the sweep.
Inside the Boxscore
- Kaylee Schmitt notched 15 kills on 20 swings, posting a .750 hitting percentage in the match. She added two blocks while earning Chili's "Player of the Match" honors.
- Tamara Heller added seven kills and 14 digs.
- Abbie Toland had 13 digs, Andrea Brigham added 12 and Emily Nieman posted 15.
