UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. - Saginaw Valley State University volleyball student-athlete Brooke Tiller has been chosen to the Division II Conference Commissioners Association All-Midwest Region Second Team, in voting conducted by the region's sports information directors.
Tiller, a libero from Maumee, Ohio, had a fantastic senior campaign to round out her career at Saginaw Valley. She became the program's first-ever GLIAC Libero of the Year after becoming SVSU's single-season and career record holder for digs. She now has 591 digs this season and 1,859 for her career. Tiller's 591 digs lead the GLIAC and her 5.14 digs per set rank third. She was named to the All-GLIAC Second Team as well for the season.
The Cardinals posted an overall record of 22-8 in 2015 and qualified for the NCAA Division II Midwest Regional Tournament as the No. 7 seed and will square-off against the No. 2 seed Rockhurst (31-3).
