Saginaw Valley State University senior volleyball student-athlete Makenzie Frodle was selected to the Daktronics, Inc. All-Midwest Region Second Team for her performance during the 2014 season, her final in a Cardinal uniform.

The six-foot middle hitter from Fraser, Michigan put together a sensational season to round-out her career at SVSU.  She posted a GLIAC-leading .330 hitting percentage, registering 258 on the season, an average of 2.77 per-set.  Frodle added a team-leading 80 blocks, an average of 0.86 per set.  Those 80 blocks ranked her ninth in the league.

Frodle was selected as a member of the 2014 All-GLIAC First Team in voting by the league's head coaches and was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District First Team, carrying a 4.00 cumulative GPA as well.
