Saginaw Valley:
The Cardinals have won six straight matches heading into play this weekend. The winning streak has moved the Lady Cards overall record to 16-8 and 12-4 in the GLIAC. SVSU sits in third place in the GLIAC North behind GVSU and Ferris State and have already clinched a spot in the GLIAC Tournament. Last weekend, Saginaw Valley defeated Michigan Tech, 3-0, and Northern Michigan, 3-2, on the road.
Grand Valley:
The Lakers are currently tied for first place in the GLIAC North with a conference record of 15-1. The lone conference loss for GVSU was to Ferris State on October 28th. Last weekend, the Lakers swept both Northwood and Lake Superior State to remain in a tie with the Bulldogs atop the standings. GVSU has a perfect record of 7-0 at home this year. SVSU lost to GVSU on September 13th by a score of 3-2 at the Cardinal Gym. The Cardinals held a 2-0 lead, but dropped a back-and-fourth affair.
Ferris State:
The Bulldogs are 15-1 in conference play and in a tie atop the GLIAC North Standings with GVSU. The only conference loss for Ferris State came at the hands of the Lakers on September 23rd. Last weekend, the Bulldogs swept Lake Superior State and Northwood on the road. As like GVSU, Ferris State is undefeated at home with a record of 7-0. The Bulldogs defeated the Cardinals on September 12th at the Cardinal Gym, 3-0.
