BAY CITY - Saginaw Valley State University senior outside hitter Kelsey Ferla was selected as the Week #7 GLIAC North Division "Player of the Week" for her performance this past weekend at the 2014 GLIAC/GLVC Crossover Challenge.

Ferla had an outstanding weekend for the Cardinals at the 2014 GLIAC/GLVC Crossover Tournament in Aurora, Illinois.  She had 57 kills, 25 digs and nine blocks in SVSU's three matches, averaging 5.18 kills per set.  Ferla was one of two SVSU players named to the All-Crossover Team as well.  The senior is currently fourth in the GLIAC with 3.27 kills per set.
