- The SVSU volleyball team travels to face the Ashland Eagles and Lake Erie Storm in GLIAC play this weekend. The Cardinals are coming off two hard fought matches in which each of them went five sets. Saginaw Valley fell to Findlay before defeating Hillsdale last weekend. Ashland has lost two matches in a row and is 4-9 in the GLIAC, while Lake Erie has lost all nine of their GLIAC matches. Last season, the Lady Cards defeated Lake Erie and lost to Ashland.
