UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. - The Saginaw Valley State University volleyball team will head to Illinois to compete in the 2010 Mizuno GLVC/GLIAC Crossover Tournament.   The event is being held at the Great Lakes Center in Aurora, Ill.

The Cardinals (7-8) claimed the No. 9 seed in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) and will face-off against the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) No. 10 St. Joseph's College (Ind.) Pumas on Friday (10/15) at 2:30 pm in their first contest.

SVSU will then face GLVC No. 13 Illinois-Springfield (6-13) at 10:00 am on Saturday (10/16) before facing No. 9 Drury University (15-9) at 4:00 pm to close-out play for the weekend.

The Cardinals went 2-1 at the 2009 GLIAC/GLVC Crossover Tournament, defeating Drury (3-0) and Northern Kentucky (3-0) before dropping a 3-2 decision to Indianapolis.

Live Stats will be available for some matches at the Crossover Tournament as they become available, but it is not guaranteed that all matches will have live scoring.
