University senior outside hitter Allison
Schlinkert (Marysville, Mich.) has been chosen as the GLIAC
Volleyball North Division "Player of the Week" it was announced by
the league office.
Schlinkert had an outstanding weekend for SVSU, leading the
Cardinals to two victories over GLIAC South opponents Northwood
University (3-0) and Wayne State Universtiy (3-1). She tallied 31
kills in the two matches with only 10 attack errors on 65 attemps
to hit for a .323 percentage. Allison also recorded 17 digs, three
blocks, three aces and three assists on the weekend.
