BAY CITY, Mich. - Saginaw Valley State University junior Jessica Treiber (Sebewaing, Mich./USA HS) has been chosen as the week 10 GLIAC North Division "Player of the Week" it was announced by the league office.
Treiber led the Cardinals to a 2-0 weekend, featuring victories over GLIAC North Division opponents Ferris State (10/30) and Grand Valley State (10/31). Treiber had 14 kills in the 3-1 victory over the Bulldogs and had 13 in the sweep of the Lakers. She hit at a .393 percentage in the seven sets played while adding five blocks and four digs in the victories.
She becomes the fourth Cardinal volleyball player to earn the award this fall, joining teammates Annie Buxton (week 4), Allison Schlinkert (week 6) and Kait Harris (week 8).
