FINDLAY, Ohio - Saginaw Valley got back on the
winning track this evening (Oct. 10) against Findlay with 3-0
drilling. The Cardinal took games one by a score of 25-17, game two
by a score of 25-19 and the last game by a score of 25-18.
The Cardinals were led by junior hitter Allison Schlinkert
(Marysville, Mich./Marysville HS) who had 13 kills, an ace and a
block. Senior Sarah Redoute (Clinton Twp., Mich./L’Anse
Creuse HS) had nine kills and ace from her outside hitter position.
Kait Harris (Essexville, Mich./Garber HS) had 27 assists, an ace
and two blocks on the eveing for the Cardinals.
Saginaw Valley improves to 14-4 on the season, 6-4 in the GLIAC,
while Findlay falls to 7-13 overall on the season, and 1-9 in the
GLIAC. SVSU will travel to Hillsdale for a match up with the
Chargers on Saturday afternoon.
