NEW ORLEANS, La. - The Saginaw Valley State University indoor women's track & field team is currently ranked #20 in the latest U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Division II National computer rankings.
The team registered a 39.64 score in the poll and is .16 behind 19th-ranked Minnesota-Duluth. SVSU is one of four Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference schools listed in the rankings, joining Grand Valley State (2nd), Ashland (4th) and Ferris State (14th).
Saginaw Valley faces second-ranked GVSU on Friday (Jan. 24) in the Cardinal-hosted SVSU vs. GVSU Dual meet, which will begin at 3:00 pm in O'Neill Arena.
