UNIVERSITY CENTER — The SVSU Women's Soccer team has earned a top four slot in the GLIAC Championship Tournament and will host a quarterfinal home contest against the Parkside Rangers Tuesday (Oct. 30) at noon.
The Cardinals enter the contest with an 11-3-3 overall record, their best record since head coach Michael O'Neill took over in 2014. The Rangers enter the No. 6 slot in the tournament after 6-9-2 overall record, 4-5 in GLIAC play.
The last contest between these two teams ended in Saginaw Valley's favor, winning 4-2 at home on Sept. 23. Amanda Minissale, Molly Vanderhoff, Lindsay Stroebel and Valentina Giambanco, each had a goal in the contest.
Tickets will be $10 for adults and $5 for seniors 62 and older and students K-12. GLIAC passes will be accepted, but no SVSU All-Sports passes will be accepted. You can save time and purchase tickets online here.
