GLIAC - The Great Lakes Intercolliegate Athletic Conference announced on Monday that Alyssa Watts earned Player of the Week honors after posting her eighth shutout on her sophomore campaign against the Ashland Eagles.
Watts produced seven saves in this weekends 0-0 tie on the road against the region ranked Eagles, producing her eighth shutout for the Cardinals this season in her 1558:42 minutes of play. Watts has earned a total of 59 saves this year, giving her a career total of 67 in her career as a Cardinal heading into the quarterfinals on Tuesday (Oct. 30) against Parkside at home beginning at noon.
