BAY CITY, Mich. — Saginaw Valley Women's Soccer junior defender Samantha Dunn earned GLIAC Defensive Player of the Week accolades for her outstanding performance during this weekends shutouts against Michigan Tech and Northern Michigan.

Dunn had a stellar week for the Lady Cardinals, leading the back row while registering a pair of clean sheets while going 1-0-1. SVSU didn't allow a single shot on goal in Friday's 1-0 shutout victory over Michigan Tech and the team followed with another shutout in Sunday's 0-0 draw with Northern Michigan.

Saginaw Valley will remain on their homes tretch, playing Davenport on Friday and Purdue Northwest at Braddock Field. Both games are slated to begin at noon.
